Our story begins with Culver Motor Clinic, established in 1954 by Vern Larsen. Vern and his wife, Darlene, have been pillars of the Culver City community since 1950. Vern’s passion for automobiles and an unmatched commitment to service led him to open Culver Motor Clinic, a local shop that quickly gained a reputation for its hard work, fair prices, and exceptional customer service.

Community Involvement

Vern was not just an excellent mechanic; he was also a fervent supporter of Culver City. As a member and past President of the Culver City Exchange Club, he put his heart and soul into supporting the community. This spirit of service extends beyond our walls as we continue to support local schools and charities.

A New Chapter

After nearly five decades of service, Vern decided to retire in 2004. But the Larsen Family’s commitment to auto repair didn’t end there. A decade later, the Larsen family returned to the auto repair scene, with Vern’s grandson, Nick Larsen, taking the reins.

The Rebirth of a Legacy

Nick, having grown up with the sights and sounds of a bustling auto repair shop, decided to honor his grandfather’s legacy. After Vern’s passing in 2012, Nick renovated and refreshed the old shop, renaming it Larsen Automotive, Inc. He assembled a team of ASE-certified technicians and service advisor specialists who shared his vision of providing high-quality auto repair services to all makes and models of vehicles.
